The brief to this exhibition led me to rediscovering the essays of Michel De Montaigne and also the self portraits of  the Oxford Muse.

listening to a lot of classical music while painting lately, I'm finding its fantastic for tuning out all of the excess noise that rattles around in my head and really helps with concentrating on the painting process itself. This piece is definitely one of my favourites at the moment...
